The X08C is Xinzuos 2nd copper series. This series features 52 layers of Copper Damascus steel Vs. 36 for their first series. Each side consists of 52 layers, comprising stainless steel, brass, and purple copper, which creates an exquisite pattern with interwoven colors.

The center core is made from their own proprietary 12Cr18MoV. This new steel formula was developed to improve on the widely used 10Cr15CoMoV to make their blades hard, not brittle, sharper, and more durable.

The handle is a new design that I have enjoyed checking out. It’s a very classy and elegant design that is engineered to be both durable and beautiful, making it a joy to use.

The handle tapers from front to back with flat sides and slightly rounded top and bottom for a very comfortable feel. The wood is Padauk Burl with a Copper Pommel & Bolster. The hand polishing gives it a natural luster, leaving it smooth with a comfortable grip.

I believe by the look and feel of these new handles that they will be featured on more premium series in the near future. Rob The Bamboo Guy
