This 5-piece Chef, Santoku & Utility Knife, Paring & Bread Knife set brings a beautiful, hammered Damascus design to the kitchen without compromising its performance. These five very important kitchen knives will bring your cooking to a whole new level of enjoyment. Each XINZOU blade features a total of 67 steel layers for better durability.

MATERIALS: Beautifully handcrafted with the finest materials. This popular series is due impart to the combination of the raindrop Damascus pattern, hammered (Tsuchime finish), Full Tang and Rosewood handles with decorative brass rivets. These Damascus kitchen knives would make a stunning addition to your kitchen. Each blade is made up of three major sections of steel. The primary core that serves as the cutting edge and two outer protective sections help prevent rust build up.

Blade Center Core: Consists of a central core that functions as the base of the blade and the cutting edge. The steel used for the core is 10Cr15CoMoV which is Chinas equivalent of Japanese VG10. This steel balances the use of Carbon and Chromium with the rarer earth metals Molybdenum, Cobalt, Vanadium, and Manganese for enhanced durability and sharpness. Expensive Vacuum Deep-cooling Heat Treatment is used to harden the blade to 60 1 on the Rockwell scale. This hardness range is the sweet spot of Damascus kitchen knives, which makes it harder, sharper, and more durable. It has a good balance with a golden angle of 15 Because of its ultra-sharp double edge it is suitable for both left and right hands.

66 layers Damascus Steel: The outer steel sections are made up of 33-layers each of 316/316L Stainless Damascus Steel. This makes dealing with corrosive fruits or vegetables easier than with a pure carbon steel blade. The Tsuchime Raindrop Damascus pattern adds an additional aesthetic layer to each knife.

Ergonomic Handle: Rosewood handles are a much sought after material for knife handles, paired with this classic ergonomic design makes it a real pleasure working in the kitchen, even for long periods of time.

The 8.2-inch Chef knife provides you with the primary cutting tool in the kitchen. It can be used to process vegetables and meat while lending itself to the rocking method of cutting. It can do a little of everything but doesnt do everything well. One of those areas of weakness is cutting things like cucumbers or other high water content vegetables, which tend to stick easily to the blade.

The 7-inch Damascus Santoku knife is best used for chopping, mincing, and dicing. This makes it especially useful for dealing with vegetables, including those that give the Chef knife trouble. It can also be used on meat to produce nice thin slices.

The 5-inch Utility knife deals with smaller cutting tasks that larger blades might struggle with. Peeling fruit, deboning meat, mincing herbs, and other general tasks are all within the abilities of the Utility knife. They allow for better fine-tuned control compared to their larger counterparts.

The 3.5 inch Paring Knife is made for fine cutting tasks. The shorter blade makes it easier to make things like garnishes while also doing more basic tasks like peeling. Paring knives allow for some of the best control for basic kitchen knife designs.

The 8.1 inch Damascus Bread knife allows you to easily cut your bread without crushing it. The serrated edge will power through the thick crust but wont compress the inner part of the loaf.

This beautiful and high-quality 5-piece knife set with hammered Damascus blade and Rosewood Handles, will be in your prized collection of kitchen chef tools, for many years to come.
