Xinzuo B13S 5 Pcs German High Carbon Steel Kitchen Knives Kitchen Knife Set

Sets are great way to go if you are looking to add to or upgrade your knife Collection Buying sets of knives versus individually will save you a lot of money. Individual knives sell for more than by the set. Same goes for add-on items like honing rods, kitchen shears, magnetic knife boards or knife blocks. Start with the biggest knife set that has the knives you want, then add additional ones to make your dream set.

This 5 piece Kitchen knife set is a function focused addition to your kitchen. Each knife is made from a High Carbon/Stainless steel blend to help ensure a good balance of corrosion resistance and sharpness.

The blade steel is 1.4116 German Steel or X50CrMoV. This style of steel is vacuum treated to get consistent hardness and durability. Tempered to 56-58 HRC on the Rockwell scale, this steel isnt as brittle as other options. This makes it more durable in the long run, but it wont have the physical capability of reaching some of the sharpness levels of knives with harder edges.

The handle is made from a beautiful Ebony wood in a more Western style. The stainless accents are offset by a single copper medallion in the handle. The handles are dehorned for long use without discomfort.

The 8.5 inch Carbon Steel Chef knife is a traditional Western-style design. This means it can slice and dice most foods ranging from fruits to meats to chocolates. This knife will be your go-to knife if you do a lot of heavy cooking.

The 7 inch Carbon Steel Santoku Knife is better suited for dealing with vegetables. The design helps prevent high-water content vegetables from sticking to the side of the knife. The blade can slice very easily and is generally paired with the rocking-cut technique.

The 5 inch Carbon Steel Utility knife is for more general tasks. It is not a specialized knife design but this allows it to handle more situations than more refined blade styles. If you want more control compared to a Chef knife, the Utility knife is the answer.

The 9 inch Bread knife makes homemade bread and pastries easier to cut. The serrations can cut through denser crusts easily and make it less likely for you to crush your cakes and muffins. If you are into baking, a bread knife is a good thing to have on hand.

The 3.5 inch Carbon Steel Paring knife is for your cutting tasks that need fine motor control. From garnishes to peeling to basic tasks, the Paring knife can handle most of them. Its shorter overall size makes it more manageable than a Chef knife and it fits in areas better than a Utility knife.

1.4116 German Carbon Steel may not be the best steel for kitchen knives, but with its corrosion resistance, durability and ease of sharpening it is a contender.

This Kitchen Knife Set is higher quality and better looking than our low prices would indicate. Dont be afraid to show them off!
