Takumi Series Kitchen Knife Duo (Gyuto & Santoku)

Two knives, most of the work. The Takumi Duo pairs the two blades a kitchen leans on hardest, each from a stainless steel core folded in layers of tsuchime-hammered Damascus.

The Gyuto is the workhorse, an 8-inch chef’s knife for proteins, herbs and everyday board work. The Santoku is the all-round blade, a 7-inch knife that slices, dices and chops behind a rounded tip.

Bought together the pair costs less than buying the two knives on their own, and both are forged to match as a set.
