Take Series Kitchen Knife Trio (Gyuto, Nakiri & Petty)

Three blades, one board. The Take Trio brings together the three knives that carry a Japanese kitchen, each from a stainless steel core folded in layers of tsuchime-hammered Damascus.

The Gyuto is the workhorse, an 8-inch chef’s knife for proteins, herbs and everyday board work. The Nakiri is the vegetable specialist, a flat 7-inch edge that drops straight through onions and squash with no rocking and no bruising. The Petty is the 5-inch utility blade for the small jobs the big knife cannot finish, trimming, peeling and detail work.

Bought together the trio costs less than buying the three knives on their own, so you cover your whole board for one price, and all three are forged to match as a set.
