Portable Japanese Shichirin Hibachi BBQ Charcoal Grill

Recommended for: 12 people

Dimensions: 25cm diameter 16cm height

Material: Japanese Diatomite

Made in: Japan

The C-6 Portable Shichirin Hibachi BBQ is a compact Japanese charcoal grill designed for authentic tabletop grilling at home, on the balcony, outdoors, or while camping. Its smaller size makes it ideal for 12 people, perfect for yakitori, yakiniku, seafood, vegetables, and relaxed Japanese-style BBQ meals.

Made in Japan using traditional diatom mud, this shichirin offers excellent heat retention and insulation. The material helps keep intense heat inside the grill, allowing binchotan or quality lump charcoal to burn efficiently while producing the high temperature needed for Japanese charcoal BBQ.

Compared with larger konro grills, the C-6 is lighter, easier to move, and requires less charcoal, making it a highly practical choice for smaller households, couples, solo dining, or occasional use. Its round shape also offers versatility and can work well with suitable Japanese pots such as do-nabe or yukihira for dishes like sukiyaki, hot pot, and other shared meals.

Care & Safety Instructions

• Use only in well-ventilated areas, as charcoal can produce carbon monoxide.
• Place the grill on a heat-resistant mat or surface before use.
• Do not extinguish the fire with water, as diatom mud can absorb moisture, become brittle, and lose durability.
• Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning.
• Gently remove ash and food residue after use.
• Avoid washing the grill with water.
• Store in a dry place when not in use.

A small, economical, and efficient Japanese hibachi grill for anyone looking to enjoy authentic charcoal BBQ with excellent heat retention and minimal charcoal use.
