Each XINZUO blade in this set features a tri-layer build: two outer layers of SuS410 stainless Damascus steel clad over a single inner core of 10Cr15CoMoV. This construction combines a keen, long-lasting edge at the core with stainless protection and visual depth on the outside.

The 10Cr15CoMoV core is heat-treated to 6062 HRC on the Rockwell scale, balancing hardness for edge holding with enough toughness to avoid chipping under normal kitchen use.

SuS410 stainless Damascus cladding provides an anti-corrosion shield and supports the series signature finisha stonewashed, lightly hammered look with a traditional Hamon-style lineadding character without compromising performance.

The handle pairs a Black Buffalo Horn ferrule with rich Red Wood, echoing the blades transition from bright edge to patterned steel for a cohesive, premium look. Shaped after traditional Japanese profiles, the ergonomic design promotes long-term comfort and confident control.

Use the 5″ Utility for peeling, trimming, hulling, and detailed tip work; reach for the 8″ Chef when you need glide, speed, and board coverage for vegetables, herbs, and proteins. Together, they cover the core of daily prep with sharpness, style, and balance.
