Bordallo Pinheiro Swallows Large Plate

The Bordallo Pinheiro Swallows Plate Large is a beautifully elegant piece from the Spring Collection, designed to bring a sense of movement and lightness to your table. Featuring a smooth, softly curved plate adorned with delicately sculpted swallows in flight around the rim, this design captures the essence of nature and renewal. The contrast between the clean, understated base and the detailed birds creates a striking visual effect, making it perfect for serving dishes or as a decorative centrepiece.

Ideal for entertaining or everyday dining, this plate blends artistic craftsmanship with functionality, adding a refined yet playful touch to any table setting.

Bordallo Pinheiro was a famous cartoonist, humourist, illustrator, and social and political commentator of his day. In 1885 he founded a ceramic factory where he created many of the pottery designs still admired today. The factory continues to this day, dedicated to bringing Bordallos creativity and distinctive style to a modern audience. Made in Portugal.
