Description

The Scotsman CU50GAX-1 15″ Prodigy Undercounter Ice Machine is engineered to produce up to 65 Lb. of crystal-clear gourmet ice every 24 hours. The unique ice shape is slow-melting and taste-free, ensuring your premium spirits and cocktails remain undiluted while maintaining their original flavor profile. Designed with a slim 15″ cabinet width, this unit fits into tight spatial configurations without sacrificing high-volume output.

Operational efficiency is managed through a smart control system that monitors water quality. A built-in sensor detects hard water conditions and automatically purges mineral-heavy water during each harvest cycle. This proactive approach helps reduce scale buildup and maintains consistent ice clarity. The user-friendly interface provides immediate status updates, including power indicators, no-water alerts, and a dedicated reminder for cleaning cycles.

This model features a gravity drain system, which is ideal for installations where a floor drain is positioned directly beneath or behind the unit. Utilizes environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant to meet modern sustainability standards. Additionally, the unit is UL approved for outdoor applications, making it a versatile choice for various commercial environments.

• Restaurant Size Recommendation: Suited for small-scale establishments, boutique bars, or outdoor hospitality suites. With a storage capacity of 26 lb., it serves as an excellent supplemental ice source for wait stations or executive lounges.
• Maintenance Advice: Scotsman recommends the installation of water filtration to protect the evaporator and internal components. Regular cleaning of the air-cooled condenser is necessary to maintain the cooling capacity.
• Manufacturer’s Warranty: Scotsman provides a 1 year parts and labor warranty on all components for commercial installations. Additionally, the compressor is covered by a 5 year parts warranty. Note that operation outside of specified temperature or water pressure limits may void this coverage.
